Ferndale

Unlock the Beauty of Ontario's Rural Bliss

Located in the Northern Bruce Peninsula region, Ferndale is a destination that showcases the raw beauty of rural Ontario. Situated along Highway 6 and Bruce Road 9, the community lies midway between Owen Sound and Tobermory on the Bruce Peninsula, west of Lion's Head. The Ferndale Road, also known as the 45th Parallel Road, connects Ferndale and Lion's Head, and is situated halfway between the Equator and the North Pole.
Ferndale is often referred to as "the hub of the Bruce Peninsula" due to its central location, which is home to a variety of local businesses, including a small engine repair shop, restaurants, a gas station and so much more.
For recreational purposes, Ferndale offers a ballpark that hosts numerous summer games, a children's playground, and a covered picnic area. The community has also an Information Center, which provides information about the Bruce Peninsula, public washrooms, and free WiFi.
