We are open year round and are centrally located in downtown Tobermory. Sit back relax and delight in the view overlooking Little Tub Harbour and Georgian Bay.
The Tobermory Princess Hotel is one of the oldest buildings in the town of Tobermory. Built around the turn of the century it operated as the Matheson House Hotel. After various owners it was bought by Joe George and operated as the George’n, an exclusive club to select Scuba Divers. In 1992 this Tobermory landmark was completely renovated to combine tradition with modern facilities under the new ownership of the Kritikos Family. In order to preserve the architectural heritage of the building, the exterior has been restored to its original appearance.
The Tobermory Princess Hotel is proud to be a Steward of the Environment. In 2011 we installed 32 solar panels on our roof to help offset our carbon footprint. Since then our carbon offset is 18.6 tons or the equivalent of 2 acres of trees and counting.

Bright airy dining room, serving meals to suit any appetite, attentive service and comfortable rooms ensure your trip to the Tobermory Princess Hotel will be memorable.
